Where has the time gone?!

I am swimming in a sea of busyness!  Summer is in full force and the D'Amico's are coming and going every second of every day. 
We've gone on a few "mini" vacations already this summer... We went over Memorial Day weekend to Cabo.  It was fabulous and a blast!! We loved the beach and the resort we stayed at was incredible.  It was a Barcelo resort that just opened in December 2009 - it was ah-mazing!!  We went with two other couples and had a blast with them.  The beach was by far the best view we've seen in Mexico (so far).  In Cabo at most of the resorts you can't get into the water due to the extreme waves... who cares though, the view, sound and smell is enough to keep this chic happy!  (Pictures to come :))
"Mini" vacation number 2 was the most rewarding... we went to Camp Wow as youth sponsors with our church youth group.  This was our second year to go and we absolutely love to go!  It's not the awesomely disgusting showers, bug-filled dorms, extreme heat and humidity or the walking on rocks and gravel that keep us going back each year... It's getting to be a part of what Jesus is doing in the lives of these youth!  God is amazing and amazing things happen when a room filled with 600 youth (7th - 12th grade) sing and praise Him with everything in them.  We basically got no sleep, had cold showers, got sun-burned and ate camp food for a week... and if you told me I was leaving to do it all over again tomorrow, I'd jump with JOY and run to pack my bags!!  I love seeing the "breakthroughs" that these youth have when their at camp... whether it's becoming a Christian, accepting the call to ministry or just worshiping the King... it's a sight, feeling and memory I'll always be grateful to be a part of.  Thank you Lord for using me and allowing me to be a part of your Kingdom's work! (Pictures to come :))
